Mike LaPlante is one of those guys who just loves to jam. It was in a jamming environment where he learned how to play guitar.

"I know a lot of really good guitar players who took lessons and practiced on the side of their bed for hours on end. They were really good, but when it came to playing with other musicians they were very much out of their element".

As his day job he works for DaimlerChrysler. He works at their Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario, making Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan minivans and VW Routans.

Mike, also known as 'Lippo' in some circles is also into graphic design work and runs his own graphic design firm called ClearPath Consulting. He is certified from Adobe Systems Inc. in Photoshop CS and is well-versed in HTML, (guess who developed this website). Go here to check out his own little spec of cyberspace.
